Refund policy

At Rivayat, we want you to love every piece you buy. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, we provide a hassle-free return and refund process. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

1️⃣ Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return:
Products must be returned within 7 days of delivery.
Items must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition with tags and packaging intact.
Personalized or customized items are not eligible for return.
Sale/clearance items may have limited return eligibility (check product details).

Provide your order number and reason for return.
Our team will guide you with the return shipping instructions.

3️⃣ Return Shipping
For prepaid orders, customers are responsible for return shipping charges unless the item is defective or incorrect.
For COD orders, the return process is handled similarly — refund will be issued after we receive the returned item.

4️⃣ Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, your refund will be processed within 5–7 business days.
Refunds will be made via the original payment method:
Prepaid: back to your card/netbanking/UPI
COD: via bank transfer or store credit (as agreed)
Refunds may take additional time depending on your bank or payment provider.

5️⃣ Exchanges
Exchanges are subject to product availability.
Contact our support team for assistance if you wish to exchange for a different size, colour, or style.

6️⃣ Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact us immediately with photos of the product.
We will provide a replacement or full refund depending on stock availability.

7️⃣ Important Notes
Always check your order details carefully before confirming the purchase.
Keep the original packaging until the return/exchange process is completed.
Returns that do not meet the above conditions may be refused.
